1. THE HALLWAY
The Hallway (Winner – IBDFF 2022) (Selected – Emerging Lens Cultural Film Festival): Anna is married but not happily. Tonight, she must get verbal confirmation from her husband that he is cheating on her. Executive producer – Great and Mighty Things Inc. Writer and director – Babatunde Agunloye. 2. PSALM 23 THERAPY
After an episode, a routine visit to his therapist brings us further into the mind of a mental health victor. In his world, everything is abnormally normal. Directed by Agunloye Babatunde.
3. CALL FOR HELP
One in three women worldwide experience physical or sexual violence, mostly by an intimate partner. Violence against women and girls is a human rights violation, and the immediate and long-term physical, sexual, and mental consequences for women and girls can be devastating, including death. (UN Women) ‘We wanted to bring awareness to the need to ensure our women are safe post-pandemic’ – Babatunde Agunloye. ‘Nobody could have directed this PSA better than Dimphy Van Vilsteren’ – Great And Mighty Things Inc. ‘I’m over it, just that seeing things like this regurgitate the emotions of the past. 1. The Sound of Roostin (Documentary)
A Non-fiction story of Rosstin Moghaddam – an exceptional Iranian-Canadian boy who at age ten and in grade 4, could speak four different languages. Skilled in taekwando and piano, he nursed the dream of becoming a prime minister in Canada. The Sound of Rosstin as narrated by Shahim, a grieving father and husband, walks us through what led to the loss of his wife and son. His quest for justice and answers on what really caused the fatal plane crash and loss of innocent lives.
